Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove poly-V-belt from belt pulley (1).

Remove belt pulley (1).

Topical note

Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process

 Unscrew screw/bolt (2) to do this.

 Installation: Replace screw/bolt (2). Ensure correct installation position of the thrust piece (3).

turn belt pulley (1) into a suitable position to counterhold.



 Caution

Risk of injury to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing engine oil

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Check front radial shaft sealing ring for damage and leakage.

If damage or leakage is present,



replace front radial shaft sealing ring.
