Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of lifting platform and position four support plates at lifting platform support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Remove starter and place to one side with lines connected

Insert retaining lock (5) into starter opening

If necessary rotate engine on center bolt of crankshaft in direction of engine rotation until the retaining lock (5) latches in the starter ring gear.
