Replacing rear crankshaft radial seal

Remove

Remover the flywheel (1)

Remover the seal (2)

Protect the crankshaft with a resistant fabric.



Check

Check the seal's operation area (2) in the flywheel (1)

 In the case it is worn or damaged 

Install or replace the race insert.

Install:

Put the limiting bushing (4) of the mandrel (3) at the crankshaft's end

 Mandrel for seal with a diameter of 113mm.

 Mandrel for seal with a diameter of 118mm.

Position the new seal (2) in the mandrel (3) and insert it in the housing

Apply soft blows until the mandrel (3) touches the bushing (4).

Use the appropriate seal


