Remove refrigerant compressor and secure against falling down

 Do not drain off coolant, do not disconnect refrigerant lines.

Unscrew nut(2)

 Nut, diesel particulate filter bracket to diesel particulate filter

Remove holder (3) on diesel particulate filter

 For this purpose, remove bolts (4).

Remove screw/bolts of the oil pan (1) in the reverse order of the bolt plan

Remove oil pan (1)

 Installation: Apply sealant.

Sealant, Loctite 5970, 50 ml

Modify existing detachable parts

Only when replacing the oil pan (1).



Clean

Clean sealing surfaces on the oil pan (1) and crankcase

Install in the reverse order



Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
