Remove/install | |||
1 | Vacuum or drain the engine oil | ||
2 | Detach the oil filter hose (3) from the oil pan (1). | ||
3 | Remove wiring harness bracket on the timing case. | ||
4 | Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil level sensor (B14) on the engine wiring harness. | ||
5 | Unscrew the screws (4) in the oil pan (1). | | |
Use the microencapsulated screws (4) for mounting M8x35 - N000000002815 | |||

6 | Remove the oil pan (1). | Only scraping tools may be used to remove sealing product residue. Do not utilize abrasive material. | |
Clean the oil pan (1) and the contact surface on the crankcase. | |||
Installation: Replace oil pan gasket (1), note installation position. Replace oil drain screw sealing (2). | |||

7 | Install in reverse order | ||
8 | Refill the engine oil circuit |

9 | Turn on the engine and pay attention to the oil pressure indicator while the engine is in idle speed | See the Operating Manual. | |
Start the engine through the starter for a period not to exceed 90 seconds. | |||
