Remove/install

Remove cylinder head cover

Installation: Inspect for leaks with engine running

Ensure cylinder head cover gasket is correctly installed

Unscrew air injection (Y32) switchover valve

On engines with air injection

Unscrew, remove cover (23) at top front

For this step, on engine 111 with compressor: Pull out connector at compressor and bypass valve at front cover. Unscrew bracket for compressor line at front cover

Installation: Clean sealing surfaces.

Coat cover (23) at sealing surface to cylinder head with sealant, replace O-ring (3).
