Clean the head (1)

Check the cylinder head mating surface for unevenness

Check the height (H) of the head

 Replace the head, in the case the height (H) is lower than the minimum allowed.

Rework the head lower face

 Preserving the roughness of the bottom face of the head is essential.

 The head height (H) can not be lower than the minimum value allowed, after the rework.

Clean the head (1)



Measure

Fit the valves (2 ad 3) in the head and measure the distance (B) between the valves faces and the head lower face

 Fit the intake and exhaust valves (2 and 3) and their respective seats.

 Rework the seats, if the distance (B) id not according to the recommended.
