1 | Remove the head cover | ||

2 | Remove injection line (10). | Plug the connections at the injection unit and in the injection holder. | |
3 | Remove the screw (9) and the internal pressure line (8) | ||
4 | Remove the screw (2) and the support (3) fastening the injector holder (1) | ||
5 | Remove the injector holder (1) with the impact puller | Use the threaded adapter in the injector holder for the installation of the impact puller. | |

When removing the injector holder, do not turn it in order not to compromise the adjustment values. Do not disassemble the injector holder (1). | |||
In case of irregularities. replace the complete injector holder (1). | |||
6 | Remove the impact puller and the injector-holder threaded adapter (1) | Protect the injector holder against impurities penetration. | |

7 | Measure the shank length (L) of bolt (2). | If the length (L) is longer than the recommended one, replace the bolt (2). | |
8 | Check the taper orifice on injector holder (1) for wear and if the taper at the end of the internal pressure line (8) presents wear or cracks | In there are irregularities, replace the tubes (8) and/or the complete injector holder (1) to ensure its tightness. | |
9 | Replace the sealing ring (5) on injector holder (1). | The smaller area surface of the washer (5) must face the injector holder. | |
Clean the sealing support surface in the injector holder. | |||
Do not use metallic brushes to clean the injection nozzle's tip. Carry out the cleaning by means of ultrasound. | |||
10 | Replace the O-ring (4) on injector holder (1) | Lubricate the O-ring (4) with engine oil. | |
11 | Install injector holder (1) in cylinder head | The correct positioning of the injection-holder (1) with regard to the internal pressure tubes (8) is ensured by the fastening rack (3). | |
12 | Install the support (3) fastening the injector holder and the bolt (2) | | |
13 | Replace the O-ring (7) in the internal pressure tubes (8) | Lubricate the O-ring (7) with engine oil. | |
14 | Install the internal pressure line (8) and tighten the bolt (9) | Only tighten the pressure bolt (9) after having tightened the attachment support (3). | |
Apply sealing compound to the thread of bolt (9). | |||
