Remove/install

Remove injectors

Remove hose (1)

Disconnect electrical connection (2)

Remove electrical wiring harness (3) and lay outside the working area


Carefully remove electrical wiring harness (3).
Damage may occur otherwise.

 Installation: Check bracket (arrows) for the electrical wiring harness (3); inspect and, if necessary, replace.

Remove throttle valve actuator

Remove bracket (7)

 To do so, unscrew nut (8).

Remove screw/bolts (4, 5)



Notes on using electrical or pneumatic screwdrivers/impact wrenches

 For design reasons the screw/bolt (5) can only be removed after removing the cylinder head cover (6).

Remove cylinder head cover (6)

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and replace gasket. Ensure that seal is correctly seated. Insert screw/bolt (5) before bottoming the cylinder head cover (6) in the cylinder head cover (6).

Remove camshaft Hall sensor

Only when replacing cylinder head cover (6).
