1 Endoscope (cold light)

	Removing
1	Remove nozzle holder combination of cylinder to be checked		AR07.03-W-6831R
2	Attach turning device for engine		AR03.30-W-1600-03R

	Illuminate
3	Set piston on cylinder to be inspected to BDC using cranking device
4	Attach endoscope (1) to cylinder inspection light and switch on cylinder inspection light	 Observe operating instructions from the manufacturer when connecting.
5	Introduce endoscope (1) through bore of the protective sleeve in the cylinder	 The ambient temperature must be  80°C.
		 The endoscope (1) must not sit on or hit the piston otherwise the objective sensor tip can be damaged.
6	Check condition of cylinder barrel, piston crown, clearance volume and valves	 In case of damage or when in doubt: 
		Remove cylinder head.	AR01.30-W-5800R

7	Illuminate remaining cylinders in the same way if necessary	 The cylinders can be illuminated at three crankshaft positions: Cylinder 1 and 6 at BDC Cylinder 2 and 5 at BDC, Cylinder 3 and 4 at BDC
	Install
8	Take off turning device for engine	 The cranking device must be removed before the engine is started, otherwise it may damage the flywheel or the timing case.	AR03.30-W-1600-03R
