1 | Disconnect ground cable of battery (W10) | After connecting, read fault memory and erase faults. See | |

2 | Remove cover of component compartment (1) | ||
3 | Unplug connectors (4, 5) at common rail diesel control module (N39/2) | ||
4 | Unplug connector (A1) at fuse and relay module (K40/4) | ||
5 | Separate plug connection (X22) in component compartment | ||
8 | Place engine wiring harness over engine and attach | ||
9 | Remove wiper fluid reservoir (2) | ||
10 | Unplug connector of glow output stage (N14/2) | Slacken cable straps | |
11 | Disconnect wiring harness of generator (G2) | ||
12 | Unbolt ground strap of engine (W11/1) | Unbolt cable at transmission | |
13 | Unbolt terminal block (X4) of circuit 30 in left footwell | Unbolt cable at outside of body. Pull off plastic cap for this step and unbolt bracket. | |
14 | Install in the reverse order |
