1 | Remove paneling of condenser unit | ||

2 | Park vehicle in shade with windows open, and rotate heater temperature selection switch to "Cold" | ||

3 | Start engine and allow to idle | ||
4 | Switch on roof air conditioning and set roof air conditioning temperature control to maximum cooling output | When the roof air conditioning is switched on, a slight change in engine speed must be discernible. | |
5 | Set blower switch for roof air conditioning to position II | ||
6 | Check refrigerant level | ||
7 | Inspect the air conditioning circuit for leaks | Only if bubbles can be seen in inspection glass of roof air conditioning. | |

8 | Set blower switch for roof air conditioning to position I | ||
9 | Also check temperature at middle air outlet opening | After approx. 5 min. the temperature of the air flowing in has to be 7 to 10 °C below the temperature of the air suctioned in. | |
If the correct air outlet temperature is not reached: | |||
| Check high-pressure switch of roof air conditioning As a separate repair order. | ||
If high-pressure switch of roof air conditioning is OK: Check that temperature control and low-pressure switch are functioning correctly As a separate repair order. | |||
10 | Switch off roof air conditioning and switch off engine | ||
