

Clean area around air flap housing (3).

Clean area around air duct segment (2).

Clean air flap (4) and inside of air flap housing (3).


Do not soil air flap (4) and inside of air flap housing (3).
Otherwise, the air flap (4) may jam.



Check

Check engine hood paneling (1) for damage, correct seating and mounting.


The engine hood paneling (1) must not be deformed, damaged or incorrectly attached.
The engine compartment can otherwise be damaged.

If problems occur,



rectify the problems.

 After obtaining special order.

Check air duct segment (2) for damage and that it is correctly seated and mounted.


The air duct segment (2) must not be deformed, damaged or incorrectly attached.
The engine compartment can otherwise be damaged.

If problems occur,



rectify the problems.

 After obtaining special order.

Check air flap housing (3) for damage, correct seating and mounting.

If problems occur,



rectify the problems.

 After obtaining special order.

Check seal (5) for damage, correct seating and mounting.

If problems occur,



rectify the problems.

 After obtaining special order.

Check air flap (4).


The air flap (4) must open easily by hand (B) and close again completely on its own (A).
The engine compartment can otherwise be damaged.

If problems occur,



rectify the problems.

 After obtaining special order.
