Checking

Check radiator for external contamination

The radiator disks must not be clogged with dirt, the radiator must be cleaned if necessary, e.g. with steam cleaning equipment or with the aid of compressed air.

Check radiator for external damage

The radiator must be repaired or replaced if necessary:

Check all coolant lines, coolant pipes and coolant hoses of cooling and heating system for external damage, chafe-free routing and specified fixing

If damage or defects are found the affected coolant lines, coolant pipes and coolant hoses must be replaced or their routing and fixing must be corrected.

Inspect cooling system for leaks
