1 | Open lower maintenance flap at the right rear on the vehicle | ||
2 | Remove bottom charge air pipe on right | ||
3 | Slacken clamp on flange (1) | ||
4 | Unscrew lower bolt (2) and then upper bolt (3) | The charge air cooler (4) is then only connected on the flange (1). Support the charge air cooler (4) by suitable means, otherwise damage can occur. | |
The charge air cooler (4) can now be swiveled. | |||
5 | Remove clamp on flange (1) | ||
6 | Swivel out charge air cooler (4) and remove from flange (1) | Do not swivel out the charge air cooler (4) completely to avoid damaging the charge air cooler (4). | |
Installation: Replace O-ring in flange (1). Check for correct seating if the charge air cooler (4) relative to the flange (1). | |||
7 | Install in reverse order |
