		Deburr the parts.
1	Stand the support base (1) with the dial indicator (2) on a flat surface of the tapered group box (3)	 The dial indicator (3) must be in the vertical position with its edge supported on the flank on the ring gear teeth, with previous load of approximately 2 mm.

2	Perform the measurement of the ring gear and pinion teeth at least in four points lagged in 90°	 To measure the play between the teeth, apply slight movements in the ring gear rotation direction (arrow).
		 In the measurement, determine the point with the smallest play.	*BE35.31-B-1001-03B
3	Block the pinion in the point of the smallest play and displace the differential assembly in the axial direction, actuating the key in the threaded rings (4) until obtain a value of 0.05 mm above the higher play prescribed	 The value above the highest play prescribed will be necessary to adjust the bearings pre-load.

4	Release the threaded rings (4) to relief the load over the bearings, then thrust them again	 Slightly thrust the threaded rings to not exert load on the bearings.

6	Lock the threaded rings (4) through the safety bolts
	Check
7	Turn the ring gear some turns and check the play again between the ring gear and pinion teeth	 If the nominal value is not reached repeat the operations from step 2.
