Remove the gear central drive device

Loosen the screws (1.1) and remove the primary shaft (2.1) end cover

Loosen the screws (1.2) and remove the flange (2.2)

Remove the balance washer (6) and oil baffle plate (7)

Remove the sealing gasket (3) with the radial retainer (5.1) from the end cover (2.1)

Remove the seal ring (4) with the radial retainer (5.2) from the flange (2.2)

Install

Determine the balance washer (6) for the primary shaft

 Primary shaft bearings pre-load.

Install the oil baffle plate (7) and the balance washer (6) defined

Install a new seal ring (4)

 only in gearbox with flange from the primary shaft (2.2). Oil the seal ring (4) and install it without twisting it.

Install a new radial retainer (5.1) with a new seal gasket (3) in the primary shaft (2.1) cover

 Oil the radial retainer (5.1) seal tab.

 Chuck

Install a new radial retainer (5.2) in the primary shaft (2.2) flange

 Oil the radial retainer (5.2) seal tab.

 Chuck

Install the primary shaft (2.1) flange

 Apply quick drying glue to the screws (1.1).
