| Remove and install | ||
1 | Disconnect main switch
Danger! | Danger of personal and material damages when tilting the engine hood | During the engine hood tilting, keep area clear of people and objects
2 | Open hood and activate safety lock
Danger! | Safety instructions regarding the brake fluid
3 | Remove hydraulic reservoir fluid by suction (1); completely extract brake fluid from piping | The hydraulic fluid must not be reused. Discard it ecologically.
4 | Remove reservoir hose (5), the connection tube (6), the elastic connection ring (7), the nut (4) and the reservoir (1) | The components can only be washed with hydrated alcohol. Oil products such as gasoline, kerosene or diesel oil damage the rubber parts.
Install: Examine the conditions and if necessary replace them, especially the connection elastic ring (7).
5 | Release Metal piping (9) and (9.1) on connections (A) of the emitter hydraulic cylinder (8) and on the connections (C) of the intermediary hose (10) Remove the intermediary flexible hose (10) | Install: Flexible hoses should not be twisted at their removal or installation. Metal piping should not be forced or bent during their removal, handling or installation.
6 | Remove screws (16) of the internal rubber clamps (15), the metal piping (9) and (9.1)
7 | Remove screws (16) of the metal clamps (18)
8 | Remove metal piping, open clamps and remove them from the tube | Install: Insert new clamps in the metal piping before it is installed.
| Clean | ||
9 | Clean all components with hydrated alcohol, including the piping | Apply clean and dry compressed air in the piping.
In case they are to remain in stock, the ends are to be covered with appropriate plastic lids.
| Check | ||
10 | Battered or damaged metal piping or connections must be replaced | Replace flexible hoses used for too long, or that are dry or damaged.
11 | Install in reverse order | First install all pipings in the hydraulic cylinders and then settle the clamps in the clamp and support openings.
12 | Refill hydraulic system with a new brake fluid | Use specified brake fluid.
13 | Drain hydraulic system
14 | Verify tightness | ||
