Remove and install

Turn off the main switch or disconnect the negative battery cable

Loosen the screw of the negative cable at the frame rail, avoid loosening at the battery terminals.

Remove radiator

Remove the belts

"V" belts - Check the condition and stretch them, if necessary

For the 374 engines

For the 904 engines

Remove the bolts (5) that fasten the rigid fan (1) to the water pump axle hub (4)

Install: Tighten the bolts up to the recommended torque.

Remove the rigid fan (1), the supplementary device (2) and the pulley (3)

Install: Check the parts for damages and if necessary, replace them.

In no case turn the engine by the rigid fan.

Install in reverse order
