Risk of burns and scalding while working on AdBlue pipes and on components connected to them. Risk of injury on skin and eyes at contact with AdBlue. Risk of poisoning from swallowing AdBlue

Only catch AdBlue in appropriate containers. Only start working on the exhaust gas aftertreatment system after relieving the pressure.

Remove the AdBlue filter (1) from the pump module

Inspect

Vigorously rub the test strip (2) between the lamellae of the AdBlue filter (1) and against the inside wall of the filter housing, as well as in the filter bowl

If no coloration is shown on the test strip (2):

Continue with the step 6 of the job.

If the test strips (2) present coloration change, as residue of oil, Diesel, solvents or other hydrocarbons in the AdBlue:

Continue with the step 3 of the job.
