Remove/install belt pulley/vibration damper

Remove and install

Remove the drive belts (1, 2)

Remove the bolts (3) and the intermediate pulley (4).



Remove the screws (5).

Block the engine with an appropriate device, at the flywheel ring gear.



Remove vibration damper (6).

Strikes or drops may damage the vibration damper.

Remove the oil deflector (7).

Install: Install the oil deflector (7) with the rim facing the engine.



Check:

Check the vibration damper for damages.

Deformation due to smashing may neutralize the pulley shock absorbing function.

Replace the vibration damper, in case of deformation (dented).

Check the front camshaft sealing tightness.

in the case of lubricant oil leakage by the front sealant 

Replace sealing.
