Drain the engine cooling system
Risk of burns
In order to drain the cooling system, the coolant's temperature must be below 50ºC.
1 Remove the cap (1) from the supply mouth, at the expansion tank.
2 Remove the draining plug (2) at the crankcase and collect the liquid in an appropriate vessel.
3 Remove the draining plug (3) from the radiator and collect the liquid in an appropriate vessel.
Discard the old coolant as per the environment protection laws in force.
Supply the engine cooling system
1 Install the plug (2) in the crankcase and the drain (3) in the radiator.
2 Prepare the coolant in a separate recipient, agitating it to homogenize perfectly the mixture.
3 Check the mixture's proportion with the densimeter.
4 If necessary make corrections, adding water or additive until you obtain the prescribed concentration.
5 Supply the cooling system up to the maximum level reference mark of the expansion tank.
6 Install the cooling system reservoir's cap (1).
