We would like to point out that before installing a vehicle transfer control unit in vehicles with emissions standard Euro 4 or Euro 5, the plug sockets (1) on the SCR frame module control unit (A95) and (2) on the SCR AdBlue metering valve (Y109) must be disconnected.
This procedure is required as the vehicle transfer control units available in the workshops are not compatible with the SCR-specific electrical connections on engines with emissions standard Euro 4 or Euro 5.
If the plug sockets (1, 2) on SCR frame module control unit (A95) and SCR AdBlue metering valve (Y109) are not disconnected,
then the SCR frame module control unit (A95) and the metering device (3) get damaged.
The fans for charge-air and engine cooling installed as standard remain completely switched on after a vehicle transfer control unit is installed.
Separating the plug socket on the SCR frame module control unit (A95) and SCR AdBlue metering valve (Y109) means that the engine diagnosis indicator lamp in the instrument lights up permanently.
The vehicle transfer control unit may only be used for the trip to the nearest workshop.
The currently valid part numbers from EPC must be used when ordering new vehicle transfer control units.
