Front seat ventilation motors, location

The motors for the seat backrest ventilation are installed in the respective backrest lining. The motor group now comprises two fans with enlarged diameter. No change is planned for the motors of the seat cushion ventilation.

Front seat ventilation motors, design

The seat cushion ventilation has six fan motors (MODEL 215: 4 motors). The seat backrest ventilation now comprises two fans with enlarged diameter.

Each motor drives a small ventilator that produces a flow of air.

Front seat ventilation motors, function

The motors in each motor group are connected in parallel. They are actuated by the relevant seat control module. The actuation signal at the control module output is boosted by a regulator.
