Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Disconnect battery ground line

Remove dashboard

Release and disconnect electrical connector from front passenger airbag squib (R12/8) at gas generator

Unscrew nuts (1) from front passenger airbag

 Nut, front passenger airbag unit to instrument panel carrier

Remove passenger airbag

Install in the reverse order



Check

8

Check and erase vehicle fault memory using diagnostic system

When replacing the front passenger airbag.


