Remove/install

Adjust driver seat and steering column all the way back

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Disconnect battery ground line

Insert screwdriver bit into openings (arrows) at rear on steering wheel (2) and remove screws/bolts from driver airbag (1)

Remove driver airbag (1) from steering wheel (2) and turn over to rear until lock tabs (3) are accessible

Unclip lock tabs (3) then release and disconnect electrical connections (5)

Disconnect electrical connection (4)

Remove driver airbag (1) from steering wheel (2)

Install in the reverse order



Check

10

Check and erase vehicle fault memory using the diagnostic system

When replacing the driver airbag (1).


