Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Disconnect battery ground line

Remove two screws/bolts (arrow) at left and right, then secure driver airbag against falling down

 Bolt, airbag to steering wheel

Lift driver airbag off from steering wheel

Release and disconnect electrical connector from squib at gas generator

Remove driver airbag from steering wheel

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check and erase vehicle fault memory using the diagnostic system

When replacing the driver airbag.


