Remove/install

Disconnect ground line from battery.

Remove bottom B-pillar trim from respective B-pillar.

Remove top B-pillar trim from B-pillar.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3) with a suitable tool.

Unscrew screw (4).

 Bolt, M6 seat belt retractor to B-pillar

Remove screw (5) and remove seat belt retractor (2) with seat belt (1).

 Bolt, M10 seat belt retractor to B-pillar

Install in the reverse order



Check

8

Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.

If the seat belt (1) has been replaced together with the seat belt retractor (2).


