Remove/install

Move front seat and seat backrest at front seat to frontmost position.

Release covers (1) at grab handle (2) with a suitable tool.

Remove screws (3) and remove grab handle (2).

 Screws (3) remain in grab handle (2).

Release cover (4) with a suitable tool and remove.

Remove screw (5).

Unclip cover (6) and remove.

Remove seat belt guide bracket (7) at seat belt height adjuster.

Remove sealing frames (8) in area of B-pillar at body flanges.

Release lower B-pillar trim (9) in upper area (arrow) until retaining clip (10) of upper B-pillar trim (11) can be unclipped.

Unclip retaining clip (10) of upper B-pillar trim (11) at B-pillar and remove upper B-pillar trim (11).

Check

Check retaining clip (10) for damage and that it is correctly seated.

If retaining clip (10) is damaged



Replace retaining clip (10).

If retaining clip (10) is not correctly seated in mount at upper B-pillar trim (11),



Position retaining clip (10) correctly.

Install in the reverse order



Check

13

Perform function check of seat belt height adjuster.
