Remove/install

Open left front door.

Open left sliding door.

Unclip check strap of fuel filler cap (1) at fuel filler flap (3).

Unscrew screws (2) of fuel filler cap trim (5).

Remove fuel filler flap (3) with fuel filler cap trim (5).

Remove pins (4).

Remove fuel filler flap (3) from fuel filler cap trim (5).

When installing a new fuel filler flap (3).

 Installation: After painting fuel filler flap (3), affix vehicle-specific adhesive label and stop plug (6).

Remove stop plug (8).

When replacing tank cap covering (5).

Remove seal strip (7).

Install in the reverse order.
