Remove fender liner in front part of right and left front fender

Unscrew bolts (4) on left and right front fender (2)

Unscrew bolt (5) form left and right bracket (6)



Check

Check freely visible points on pedestrian protection sensor (7) for damage of any kind (cracks, holes, breakovers, etc.) when installed

Disconnect electrical connector on frame wiring harness and front bumper (X2638)

Unclip outside temperature sensor (B14)

Remove bolt (8)

 Installation: Screw in bolts (8) only to stop because it may be necessary to check and adjust the gap dimensions after bumper (1) installation.

Remove screw/bolts (9)

 Installation: Screw in bolts (9) only after adjustment work.

Push catch hooks (10) downward and toward front

 Installation: Only position catch hooks (10) in guides.

Remove front bumper (1)


