Warning | Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism. | When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m). | |

1 | Remove wiper arms | ||
2 | Remove cover (1) | ||
3 | Remove the clamping plate (3) | To do this, remove screws (2). | |
4 | Remove foam material (4) | ||
5 | Remove clips (5) | Installation: Check clips (5), replace if necessary. | |
6 | Remove bolts (7) | Installation: Pay attention to the bracket (8). | |
7 | Remove expansion rivets (9) | ||
8 | Remove right and left water hose (11) | To do so, raise the paneling (10) until the right and left water hose (11) is accessible. | |
9 | Remove cover (10) | To do so, slide the paneling (10) downwards and remove it from the window frame seal (12). Remove the paneling (10) upwards between the windshield and engine hood. | |
Swivel the engine hood support outwards to create space. Use aid of helper. | |||
Installation: Ensure that the paneling (10) is seated correctly in the window frame seal (12). | |||
