Risk of explosion from fuel vapors, risk of poisoning from inhaling combustion gases and risk of injury from burns during and after operation of heater unit.
Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.
2 Remove heated air outlet cover (3) and heated air inlet cover (5).
Both covers can be separated from the upper and lower housing segments (2, 4) by a sliding motion.

4 Press in all retaining wedges (arrows) one after the other using a suitable screwdriver and slightly raise the upper housing segment (1) while doing so.
Installation: The retaining wedges must be securely engaged in the recess clearances.
5 Remove upper housing segment (1).
6 Install in reverse sequence.
