1 | Disconnect ground lead from battery | Do not interrupt main battery current in heater mode or in the run-on phase. | |
Danger! | Risk of injury caused by body parts being jammed and crushed when tilting cab | Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab during tilting. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut. | |

3 | Remove heater | ||
4 | Remove auxiliary heater control unit | ||
5 | Remove tie straps (1) and (2) | ||
6 | Remove cover (3) from cable retainer (4) | | |
7 | Fold-up cable retainer | ||
8 | Unclip flat plug (5) of chambers No. 6 and No. 7 from connector housing (6) | | |
9 | Route electrical line (7) to coolant circulation pump (8) | ||
10 | Open hose clamp (9) | Installation: Ensure that the coolant circulation pump is properly seated in the heat exchanger housing and on the bearing bracket. | |
11 | Pull out coolant circulation pump with sealing ring (11) from heat exchanger housing (10) | Do not tilt coolant circulation pump when pulling it out. Clean deposits from housing sealing surface of sealing ring, do not damage housing in the process. | |
12 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit | Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves. | |
