Removal, installation

Danger!

Fuel vapors present an explosion hazard. Combustion gases are toxic when inhaled. Heater can cause severe burns during and after operation

Do not start up or operate stationary heaters or engines with heater boosters in closed rooms or in the vicinity of service stations. Allow heater to cool off after operation and wear protective gloves.

Remove heater

Remove heater from housing

Installation: Check flange gasket (3) for damage, replace if necessary.

Remove cover (1) together with gasket (2)

Installation: Check gasket for damage, replace, if necessary.

Remove glow plug

Remove covering parts (4, 5, 6, 7)

Disconnect electrical connectors for flame sensor (8) and overheat switch (9)

Unscrew combustion and hot air blower (10) and remove from heat exchanger (12)

Remove gasket (11) and clean sealing surfaces

Installation: Use new gasket.

Install in opposite order
