Remove

Drain air conditioning system

Disconnect filler connections from air conditioning service unit

Remove screw plug (7) from condenser

Insert dismantling tool (9) into holder (10) of desiccant cartridge (8)

 Dismantling tool (9) is in repair kit.

Remove desiccant cartridge (8) by rotating dismantling tool (9) left and right and simultaneously pulling up and out of the condenser



Install

Check packaging of new desiccant bag (11) for damage, then unpack desiccant bag (11)


After opening the packaging, the desiccant bag (11) must be installed within a period of 20 minutes at the latest.
Otherwise the desiccant bag (11) is unusable.

If packaging is leaky



Dispose of desiccant bag (11).

Insert new desiccant bag (11) into new holder (10)



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Moisten sealing ring of holder (10) using compressor oil.

Insert desiccant cartridge (8) into condenser



The receiver drier (8) must be inserted carefully by hand and without any tools.
Otherwise the desiccant bag (11) will be damaged.


Avoid tilting the holder (10).
Otherwise the holder (10) may break apart.

 Moisten sealing ring of holder (10) with compressor oil.

Tighten screw plug (7)



Evacuate air conditioning system, refill it, and then check the system to make sure that it functions correctly and does not leak
