	Draining
 Danger	Risk of explosion caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.	Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been drained.	AS83.00-P-0001-01H

1	Remove right air filter housing (10) and cover up turbocharger with a clean rag	Only with rear air conditioning system

3.1	Connect charging equipment connection (2) to high-pressure line filler connection (1) and charging equipment connection (6) to suction line filler connection (4)	Only for front air conditioning system
3.2	Connect charging equipment connection (13) to high-pressure line filler connection (11) and charging equipment connection (9) to suction line filler connection (7)	Only with rear air conditioning system
4	Suction off refrigerant	 For all operation steps, must be carried out in accordance with the operating instructions for the charging equipment
		 In model 240, two separate refrigeration circuits are installed that have to be completely drained, evacuated and filled
		 Note quantity of extracted compressor oil.

6	Clean refrigerant and evacuate air conditioning system
	Filling
7	Replace the previously noted compressor oil quantity amount with new oil, and feed to air conditioning system again.	 In the event of too much or too little compressor oil quantity, the refrigerant compressor can be damaged.

13	Check air conditioning system for proper operation	 Run engine at idle speed for about 4 minutes and check all the component functions which are of relevance for proper operation of the air conditioning system.
