1 Start engine and switch on air conditioning.

2 Examine the entire air conditioning system circuit for leaks using probe of the air conditioning leak detector (1), spending a little more time in areas where leaks are suspected if necessary.

Escaping coolant is heavier than air and sinks. Therefore, always move probe of air conditioning leak detector (1) beneath the area where the leak is suspected. Leaks occur most frequently near line connections, at the condenser and at the evaporator.
