6 | Pull off heater feed and return hoses, loosen 3 hose clamps | Plug openings (parts kit). | |
N | Remove instrument panel | Before installing the instrument panel, check for proper functioning. | |

9 | Remove floor covering on left and right | ||
10 | Remove passenger airbag | Vehicles with passenger airbag (code 291). | |
11 | Remove jacket tube | ||
12 | Loosen wiring duct (25), unscrew | When installing wiring duct (25) pay attention to screw on mount (arrow) on jacket tube holder. | |
13 | Remove mount (30), unscrew screws (31) | ||
14 | Remove transverse pipe (20) | For this purpose, unscrew screws (23) and hex. nuts (22). | |
15 | Disconnect electrical leads from ground point W1 | ||
16 | Open cable straps (27) | ||
17 | Remove rear air ducts on left and right | ||
18 | Disconnect vacuum lines at cockpit separation point (35) | ||
19 | Remove ground strap (40) on right | ||
20 | Separate blower motor connector | ||
21 | Remove air ducts to side nozzles on left and right | ||
22 | Remove heater housing | ||
23 | Install in opposite order |
