Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove trim at bottom for instrument panel on driver's side.

Remove cover (1) at side from instrument panel support.

Release and disconnect optical connectors from head unit(A26/17).

 The number of optical connectors varies depending on the vehicle equipment involved.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors from head unit (A26/17).

 The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.

Unclip electrical wiring harness from head unit (A26/17).

Remove screw/bolts (2) .

Take head unit (A26/17) out of holder(3) in direction of arrow and remove head unit(A26/17).

Install in the reverse order.

Initial startup

Perform commissioning of head unit (A26/17).

If the head unit (A26/17) was replaced.


