Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit

On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off.

Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove rain/light sensor front cover section (1) toward front (arrow)

Disconnect electric connector (2)

Slide locks (3) downward on both sides of rain/light sensor (B38/2) and remove rain/light sensor (B38/2)

The rain/light sensor lens is glued to the windshield and must not be removed, otherwise the lens will be damaged.

Install in the reverse order
