	Check
 Warning	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1	Move windshield wiper system out of park position and then position wiper arm (1) by hand in center position	 To do this, switch on ignition (circuit 15 or circuit 15R) and turn wiper switch to position "Two". After the windshield wiper system starts, turn off ignition, turn wiper switch to "Zero" position. The center position is reached when the wiper arm (1) is vertical and therefore equidistant between the left and right A-pillars.
2	Remove wiper blade	 When working on raised wiper arm (1), make sure that it does not fall on the windshield. Otherwise, it will get damaged

3	Check angle of incidence of wiper arm (1) relative to windshield in center position and compare with set value		AR82.30-P-6050-01EA
		 If the measured test value deviates from the tolerance range in the center position, the wiper arm (1) must be adjusted.

4	Adjust angle of incidence of wiper arm (1) in center position relative to windshield	In the event that the test value deviates from the tolerance range in the center position.

5	Place windshield wiper system in park position	 To do so, switch on ignition (circuit 15 or circuit 15R). When the windshield wiper system has reached the park position, switch off ignition again.
6	Check angle of incidence of wiper arm (1) relative to windshield in parked position and compare with set value		AR82.30-P-6050-01E
		 If the measured test value deviates from the tolerance range in parked position, the windshield wiper system must be adjusted.

7	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Only in the event that the test value deviates from the tolerance range in park position.
