1.1 | Transfer basic data from overhead control panel control unit (N70) to STAR DIAGNOSIS | When installing new overhead control panel control unit (N70). Installation: Transfer buffered basic data to the new overhead control panel control unit (N70). | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | ||
2 | Open soft top | ||
3 | Remove transmitter key from electronic ignition switch control unit | ||
4 | Unclip top paneling (1) and remove | ||
5 | Remove bolt (2) | ||
6 | Remove the overhead control panel control unit (N70) | Installation: Excess pressure and tensile stress on the roof switch will damage the overhead control panel control unit (N70) | |
7 | Disconnect connectors from overhead control panel control unit (N70) | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Read out fault memory, erase if necessary | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory |
