Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and eye protection.

Remove right side paneling in trunk

Mark installation position of bracket (1) and remove bracket (1)



Disconnect electrical connector (2) from soft top actuation hydraulic unit (A7/5)

 Turn electrical connector (2) toward left in direction of arrow and remove.

Disconnect rollover bar actuation (RB) hydraulic unit and soft top actuation connector (A7/5x1)

Unscrew nuts (3)

Remove all hydraulic lines from soft top actuation hydraulic unit (A7/5) and remove soft top actuation hydraulic unit (A7/5)

When separating hold a rag around the hydraulic line connections to prevent hydraulic oil from running out.Immediately plug connections for hydraulic lines and soft top actuation hydraulic unit (A7/5) with appropriate plug.



 Installation: Ensure that support (4) is seated properly when installing soft top actuation hydraulic unit (A7/5)

Observe line coding of hydraulic lines when connecting.
