Loose door panel (2) from door handle recess (1)

Only if door handle recess (1) and door panel (2) are glued to one another.


Carefully pry door paneling (2) off of door handle recess (1) in bonding area (arrows).
Otherwise parts can break.

 Installation: Coat contact surface of door panel (2) on door handle recess (1) in bonding area (arrows) with adhesive.

Detach velcro fastener (7) on door panel (2) and remove door panel (2) from door frame

 Installation: Firmly press on velcro fastener (7).

Disconnect door contact switch (10)

Remove electrical wiring harness (5) from door panel (2) and guide through elongated hole in door panel (2)

Disconnect electrical connectors from driver door power window switch (S35), mirror adjustment switch (S37) and sun visor switch (S69)

Only for model 957.

Disconnect electrical wiring harness on driver switch group

Only for model 956.

Install in the reverse order
