Unclip retaining clips of release linkage (13) form door handle (12) and remove release linkage (13) from door handle (12)

Remove door lock (2) from upper door frame cutout (7)

Remove door lock (2) and lock switch (3) from upper door frame cutout (7)

Vehicles with CODE FZ3 (Comfort locking system with remote control)

 Leave lock switch (3) installed on release linkage (13).

 Installation: Hook operating lever (11) of lock switch (3) behind driver (10) on door handle (12).

Remove convenience locking system actuator (1) from door lock (2)

Only on vehicles with CODE FZ3 (Comfort locking system with remote control)

 Pull door lock (2) with convenience locking system actuator (1) through upper door frame cutout (7) toward outside until bolts (6) of convenience locking system actuator (1) are accessible.

Remove door lock (2)

 Turn door lock (2) outward through upper door frame cutout (7) and pull out upward together with release linkage (13).

Install in the reverse order
