Bolt for inner door lining on inner door panel, model 374.5/6, 375.3/4, 940.1/2/3, 942.1/3, 943.1/3, 944, 950.5/6, 952.5/6, 953.6, 954.5Screw/bolt, door trim to inner door panel
Slide door trim (1) upward, unhook from retaining hooks (6) and pivot away from door

Remove cover (7) from inner door actuation (2)
For this purpose, press catch tab on cover (7) through cutout (10) toward inside.

Loosen retaining clip (8)

Remove grommet (9) from inside door opener (2)

Unhook operating cable (5) on lever from inside door opener (2)

Disconnect electrical connectors from switch panel and speaker

Remove door trim (1)
Installation: Check seal on door trim (1), replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order

Perform function test
Check functions on driver door switch panel with mirror adjustment, mirror heater, central locking, driver and passenger power windows or on passenger door switch panel with central locking, passenger power window and reading lamp. Check driver and passenger speaker for proper function.
