1 | Open side window of left or right front door (1) completely | ||
2 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery | ||
3 | Remove left or right trim (2) in footwell | ||
4 | Fold up insulation mat (3) and pull out the electrical connectors (4.1, arrows) of the electric door wiring harness (4) from the A-pillar | The number of electrical connectors (arrows) varies depending on the vehicle equipment. | |
5 | Disconnect electrical connectors (4.1, arrows) | ||
6 | Remove grommet (5) from the A-pillar (6) | ||
7 | Pull out electrical door wiring harness (4) from the A-pillar (6) | ||
8 | Remove screw (7) and remove door holder (8) from A-pillar (6) | ||
9 | Install lifting device on front door (1) | ||

10 | Unscrew nuts (9) and remove front door (1) from the hinges (10) | ||
11 | Remove front door (1) from the lifting device | If required. | |

12 | Install front door (1) on the lifting device | If required. | |

13 | Position front door (1) on the hinges (10) and tighten nuts (9) so that the front door (1) is fixed to the hinges (10) | Tighten nuts (9) with the specified tightening torque after adjusting the front door (1). | |
14 | Remove lifting device from the front door (1) | ||
15 | Position door holder (8) on A-pillar (6) and tighten screw (7) | Bolt, door holder at A-pillar | |
16 | Install electrical door wiring harness (4) in A-pillar (6) and route | ||
17 | Install grommet (5) in A-pillar (6) | ||
18 | Connect electrical connectors (4.1, arrows) of electric door wiring harness (4) | The number of electrical connectors (arrows) depends on the vehicle equipment. | |
19 | Position electrical connectors (4.1, arrows) in the A-pillar | ||
20 | Fold down insulation mat (3) | ||
21 | Install trim (2) in footwell | ||
22 | Connect ground line for on-board electrical system battery | ||
23 | Adjust front door (1) | ||
