Remove/install

Detach covers (1) of coat hooks (2) on B-pillars

Remove the coat hooks (2) from the B-pillar trims (6, 7)

 Unscrew screws (3) to do this.

Remove grab handle (4)

 Unscrew screws of the grab handle (4) to do this.

Unclip B-pillar trims (6, 7) in upper area

Unclip interior sensor (8) from center headliner (11) and disconnect electrical connector

 The front headliner (10) conceals the expansion rivets.

Remove sealing frame (5) on sliding door portal in area of center headliner (11)

In these vehicles, detach both sealing frames (5).

Unclip center headliner (11) in center area (arrows B)

Unhook lugs (arrows C) on center headliner (11) opposite sliding door

 Removal: Slightly push lugs (arrows C) upward in area of cutouts using assembly wedge, pull toward outside and unhook.

Remove center headliner (11)

 To do this, pull center headliner (11) out of front headliner (10) and B-pillar trim (6, 7).

 Route electrical connectors for interior lights out of the cutouts in the center headliner (11).

Install in the reverse order

Perform function test for interior lights
