Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

Drill holes for MAG welding in dropside (1) (area A).


Commercially available devices/tools
Hand drill

Grind mating surfaces on dropside (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas and around holes (area A).

Rotary wire brush

Remove shavings and drill chips.

Wet and dry vacuum cleaner

Drill holes for MAG welding in dropside (1) (areas B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I).

Grind mating surfaces on dropside (1) down to bare metal around holes (areas B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I).
